It is decidedly so...

I put on a headband today for something different. Right around noon, I remembered why I don't wear headbands. I have a bitch of a headache now. I can't take it off though because I have the ridges in my hair where the headband is. I'd look goofy. And my daddy always said, "It's better to look good than to feel good." Actually I think he got that from Billy Crystal's character, Fernando (the "You look mahvahlous" guy).

Thankfully I have some lovely flowers on my desk, leftover from an event on campus featuring an US Ambassador. We seem to have a number of important people here. Certainly more important than anyone I ran into at my last job. I ran into a lot of recognizable people while in casting but they're only important in their own minds.

I haven't heard from the Hobbit in a while but according to the magic 8 ball on my boss' desk, he's got the hots for me. Those magic 8 balls are so smart.
