Some good some bad

I spent most of the weekend in bed. I slept, downloaded music, watched some TV, played with my dogs and slept some more. I was thinking I'd be able to knock this cold or sinus or allergy thing out of me by getting some really good rest. Not so much. I'm sicker today than I was yesterday. So I'm going to sort through the mail, do some photocopying, finish up some filing and head home.

We went to church yesterday and tried to go to the Flowertown Festival after. My mother has MS, my grandmother is 80 and has a bevy of problems, and I, obviously, wasn't feeling well. We found a parking spot and attempted it. We got about 20 feet and my grandmother said she had to sit down. I had on a skirt and sweater and was severly hot, plus my mom wasn't really up for it. So we left. It was packed though and on any other day (with anyone else) it probably would have been fun.

Oh and the morning show I listen to was supposedly on vacation. After the 3rd Monday of them not being on air, I realized something was up. Yeah, I'm swift. Apparently they got fired. I'm bummed because I really liked the show.
