Too bad I don't own a convertible
I'm really looking forward to the next couple of weekends. I'm a big fan of road trips. I'm driving up to Virginia Beach with my mom on Friday for my pseudo sister's baby shower. I'm finally going be a faux-Auntie! Of course I went nutty buying tiny onesies and bibs this past weekend but that's ok. We're staying in a hotel on the way up on Friday night and then another one in Norfolk on Saturday night. I have a thing for hotels. Maybe it's the free continental breakfast and USA Today. Maybe it's just the quick break from my every day. Either way, I'll be enjoying myself. I wish we had another day there. A day to lay out by the pool and relax but I have to get back to work because my co-worker decided to go away the same weekend. Whatever. My mom wants to listen to books on tape. I need to see what she has in mind before I commit to it though.
Anywho, the next weekend my awesome friend Katie is coming down from the general Philly area for a wedding we're attending. Our friend Rebecca is getting married and I'm very happy for her. And that means hotel #3 for me, the Edgefield Inn. Should be a fun weekend.
The following weekend, I'm not going to do a damn thing. Well maybe watch some football.

One word...
AIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!
I'm so jealous you get to see everybody next weekend!
I love hotels, too. I think mainly because I can make a mess and not have to clean it up. And the free coffee and pastries in the morning is fantastic. I won't step foot in a hotel that doesn't have free pastries. No sir.
I was horrified last year when I was at a hotel in DC and there was NO free breakfast of any sort. Now, my company was paying for the room, but still, it cost a lot of money to stay there and then no breakfast? What is the world coming to?
Ann should totally come as one of our guests!!!
