Being this poor really sucks
So I can't do the trip to Europe next Christmas. I'm incredibly bummed. At least I didn't buy any of the 8 travel books I had my eye on...
I went over my budget and there's no possible way I can save $150 a month. It's so sad when every penny of your paycheck is spent before you even get it.
Anyway I'm still trying to think of ways to get out of town that week. I wonder if a hotel/condo on the beach somewhere on the east coast would be cheaper since it's off-season. Maybe something in the outerbanks? I wouldn't have to buy a plane ticket which is good yet it's still out of state, also good. For some reason I love the beach in winter. This is starting to sound like a good idea.

That stinks, I am sorry!!
The beach is DEFINITELY cheaper in the winter...check out the Outer Banks near Beaufort or Morehead City, NC. That is where my family went every summer growing up. Ocracoke Island very cool, too!
I hope something works, I empathize with wanting to get out of the country during the holidays!
:( Sad. I have a feeling I'd run into the same problem if I ever seriously got down to business and tried to save for something like that. Not having disposable income really does suck.
The beach in winter is delightful, I agree. We're two odd birds of a feather! :)
I'm sorry about the European trip! Hopefully you can do that at a later time. The beach trip in the winter is a great substitute though. Heck, maybe somebody with a beach house would like a housesitter over the holidays...?
I could use a nanny next Christmas... And not at just 1 location, but 2! 2 exciting locations... Reading, PA and Collegeville, PA... all the shopping and history you can imagine!
HAHAHAHA!
