OH THE HUMIDITY!!!

So I've given up and just decided to go curly for the rest of the summer. Sadly I don't like my curly hair because it's never quite right. Really I should probably get a haircut but I love having long hair. Previously I'd scoff at the women on What Not To Wear who cry when Nick chops off their hair. They usually love the cut later but that doesn't stop them from either crying or bossing poor Nick around. Now that I've had long hair for a few years, I kind of get it. Not that I'd cry but it'll take a lot for me to cut this mess on my head. Long, straight hair was great in LA but now that I'm living in 100% humidity for like 6 months of the year, I might want to rethink the whole thing. We'll see.

100% humidity is just insane. I don't blame you for not trying to fight it anymore. Plus, you've still got the winter to go straight. And I've always liked your hair curly, too. It looks really good!

Oh, and even with long hair, I Nick offered to cut my hair for free, I would totally do it. Maybe he could figure out a way to make the mop look good.

I mean "if Nick..." Sigh. It's almost lunchtime, what can I say?

Ann, let's nominate each other for What Not To Wear! I'm ready for a new wardrobe. How about you?

Nick reminds me of a hobbit. It's probably his hair and accent though.

Oooh, I love that show! They would never put you on there though. You're way too stylish.

And now I'm just soaked. It's pouring rain and since I've had prior experience with this campus and rain, I decided to brave the downpour and check on my car. The water wasn't up to the bottom of my car yet but it was close. There are two cars that were next to me that were dangerously close to flooding. I call Public Safety and they basically say that it's not their problem. I finally force the guy to call the departments to let students know. Idiots. Meanwhile offices on the 3rd floor are having water come straight thru the roof, down thru the office and all the way thru the next floor and down to the conference room down here on the 1st floor.

Stay safe girl!!!
That was very kind of you to make the officers contact the students. Did you move your car yet?

Good grief, that sounds like quite a downpour! Is that a tropical storm or just a normal thunderstorm-type thing?

It was just a thunderstorm. We're supposed to have another one today. I parked in a better spot though so no leaving early again today.
