I hate Mondays
My new(ish) digital camera is missing. I think it was stolen because I've turned my world (home, office & car) upside down. Apparently there have been issues on campus if people don't lock up their stuff in their desks and I'm pretty sure that's where it was. I'm really bummed about it. For one thing, it's not like I have the money to buy a new one. I'm pretty sure I had downloaded all the pics on my computer so I don't think I'm missing any memories. One of the biggest problems is that I'm really, really beating myself up for not being responsible about it. I can clearly hear my dad's voice in the back of my head.
In other news, we had to unplug machinery in our offices on Thursday because they were changing out a transformer. I had to go around to everyone's offices and unplug their computers. That was a task I would rather not repeat. I have a small fridge under my desk for "six packs of bee...soda" and I remembered to get rid of the stuff that would spoil over the weekend. I forgot to put a towel in there to catch the water from the little freezer that was going to be thawing out. So now it smells under my desk because the water leaked out, onto the carpet and settled under my chair mat. Yum...musty, moldy carpet is quite a lovely smell.

Still no camera. I'm really, really bummed about it too. I can't even imagine where it could be.
Tell me why I don't like Mondays, tell me why...
I would be devistated if I lost my camera. And I'm really bad now since I got a new camera with a ridiculously large memory card... the old camera would force me to download my pics. The new one lets me be lazy and I'm afraid I'll lose the card and all the pics.
I was thinking of retitling the post to "I don't like Mondays" and then finding a link to the scene from House where he plays that with Dave Matthews but then I didn't.
I've only had the camera for a year and I think I managed to get almost everything off the card and onto my computer. I've absolutely turned everything upside down trying to find it and no luck. Either I left it somewhere public or it was stolen. Ugh.
