When does football season start?

I can't wait to start cheering for the Gamecocks. Sure, they probably won't do so hot this season but I'm just happy to have a new coach. I like Lou but I thought he'd have done better recruiting. With Spurrier we may have a better chance at an actual winning season.

Ok, so I've (thankfully) made some trips up north. I think I'm going to have to do that in order to stay sane and give myself a break from the insanity I now call home. Actually I am loving it here and will love it more when my cousin, her hubby and kids move here. Until then, I am planning one more road trip in mid-September to see Ash and Mark in DC. Yes, it's Virginia and Virginia is technically the south but they're so much more cultured up there.

I'm just really getting tired of the bugs too.
