A girl named Kevin

Southern women have weird first names. Norwood, Shelton, Vince and Kevin are a few of the names that have stood out. So the fact that my middle name is Stewart is actually pretty normal. I wish 10 year old me had known that. I would have cried less as a child. Honestly, people have a lot of trouble with my first name which has been standard throughout my life. Though I am running into (or hearing use of) my name more often now. Being called Alissa or Alisha will never change. I saw a name on a fax the other day, JoTerica. That's a great name. I mentioned this name to the girls in Protocol and now I am called JoTerica. When they say it I throw my hands above my head (palms upwards), give a little booty dance and exclaim, "Heyyyy" for all to enjoy.

My boyfriends are on TV tonight. At 8pm I get to swoon over Ace on Idol. That boy better not get voted out until the end. If he does, they need to use him as host instead of Ryan Seacrest. 9:30 is my dear, sweet Jim on The Office. I'm not going to watch the show though because I just watched that episode this past weekend (thanks to the DVD of the first season). I've realized that I can't watch the episodes twice. The boss, Michael, is just so awful and frustrating that I can't put myself through the pain of it a second time. Luckily there are deleted scenes I can watch so I can get my Jim fix for the night.
