I kill me...

Do you ever have something strike you funny but you're alone and telling the funny to anyone else will never have the same impact? I had a funny like that happen on Friday. I was leaving a shoe store where I happily returned a pair of shoes (I got a cuter pair for $10 less at Target) and spotted something shiny on the way back to my car. I looked down and there was a flattened fork. So my immediate thought was, "Oh look! A fork in the road." Well I just cracked myself up with that one. So I call my mom and tell her my funny, she kind of half chuckled and then asked about the shoes. I called my dad, he's got a much better sense of humor, and all I got was, "That's funny. So how's the weather there?" Whatever! At least I entertain myself. But I guess that's what only children do, eh?

That's the story of my life. I wonder a lot if strangers think I'm crazy because I'm always laughing to myself when nobody else is around. I don't think there's anything weird about that...I think we're just comically gifted people! "A fork in the road." Ha!

fork in the road... hehehe

Mike and I went on a double date with friends of ours and we got ice cream for desert and the other guy's ice cream had actual ice on it. So he said something about have to 'extracate' the ice from his ice cream (he was being funny, not pretentious) and Mike says 'If I had an extra Kate, I wouldn't know what to do with her'
