As predicted
We were in the same room but that room also had almost 3,000 other people. I know a lot of people who met him though. Good for them. Well, life goes on.
But the debate was actually pretty cool. I'm not at all into politics and really have no faith that someone good and worthwhile will get into office anytime soon. Anywhoodle it was so cool to watch and really a lot of fun. They didn't say anything new and really seemed to play to the crowd. But having the addition of the youtube questions was pretty cool. I heard one pundit say something about scripted answers and without journalists to ask questions there are no curveballs, etc. Sure, I get that but it really was a clever idea. Now I might actually watch the Republican version of this.

The Republicans are doing that, too? I'll have to make sure to watch that one as well. It really added a funny touch to what can be a really dry format.
Off topic but Alisa, how was your interview??
The interview went well. I have this "grad school" employee stigma though (aka work until I graduate). I was very honest and they seemed very receptive so we'll see how it goes. Plus our friend Janet has a radical idea about employing me but I think she's going to get shot down. Then there are a few irons in the fire so I just don't know what to do. There haven't been any firm offers so all this conjecture is driving me crazy!
Is there any word on when you'll hear about these jobs? Did they happen to say you'd find out as soon as next week? That would be sweet.
Yeah, it's really suspicious when employees start gettin' all edjimacated and stuff. Can't have that!
