It's a day off of work
4th of July is probably my least favorite holiday. Yes, we get a day off from work, always a nice thing. But otherwise I just don't care for it. It's usually too hot out and my dogs get completely freaked out by the fireworks. I'm just not all that impressed by 4th of July. Maybe this year will be different. I've actually got plans and am probably taking Thursday off so that's nice.
I'm keeping my expectations low.

That picture is very festive! I'm with you on the 4th. It seems like we should try to do more things INSIDE during one of the hottest months all year. But I hope you have a great holiday and that the dogs are ok. Poor pups. And I suppose you can do what everybody on my street does to celebrate our nation's independence: drink your own case of beer. The day will go quickly, I promise.
Well, I might actually have something for you to be happy about on the 4th... I apologize for no email, but it has been one crazy day that I will explain at a later date, but just know this... I am being induced around 7:30am on July 4th :) So, most likely Logan Michael will make his arrival on the 4th of July. I'm sorry to use your blog for posting this news, but I'm having issues with email, so please pass this info along to anyone who is interested.

Wow, Katie's baby was born on the 4th! Yay! I hope they're both doing great. That's such good news!
Now that's something to celebrate! Ok, now I'll like the 4th of July!
