Mmmmmm
Professor Swoon just came in, greeted me and left again. He smells sooooooo good. As the door shut behind him I literally took in a long, drawn out breath. He has a light scent of something (aftershave, cologne, whatever) but I want to stress the light part. I really enjoy a man who smells fresh and clean and not like he's using a scent to cover up the fact that he was too lazy to shower.
The early morning weather is finally down around 70 so it's cool enough to get outside for some exercise. Well I set my alarm 45 minutes early so that I could get up, go outside and walk in a brisk manner. I slept right through my alarm and woke up when I normally wake up. I'll try again tomorrow. Hey, at least I had the intention of exercise. That's a step in the right direction. Right? Right? Anyone?
The weekend was good. We went to Cade's soccer game which was quite amusing. I'll post the pictures tomorrow. And yes, there were two balls kicked into the wrong team's goal. It's a good thing they don't actually keep score. Poor Cade did not enjoy himself out on the field. He was much more content sitting on my lap, pointing out butterflies and asking which car we came in. That kid is a romantic and a gear head. I'm totally ok with that because he's going to make some woman with perpetual car troubles very, very happy.

Yes, even setting the alarm must have burnt some extra calories :)
That's so cute about Cade! I can think of a lot worse things for a man than being a romantic and a gearhead. He could be a NASA engineer and spell out his girlfriend's name in satellites.
LOL! I like your idea about the satellites.
Oh and I set out my clothes and charged up my iPod. That required a bit of extra energy too. These are vital steps toward regular exercise. At this rate I'll be running marathons in, what, 20 years?
Ugh, marathons. I have never understood why people want to do that. I would just assume run a couple miles INDOORS, thank you very much.
I'd rather not run at all, indoors or outdoors. I like walking and hiking but running for 26 miles seems kind of boring.
26 miles is excessive, for sure.
Didn't the first marathon runner, um, DIE?
