"I'm looking for a dare to be great situation."

My weekend was ok. There was good, there was bad and there was a lot of the inbetween. I'm stressing about something but won't have an answer about it for a week or so. I'll let you know if it turns out to be anything. Other than that I'm taking control of my life with a lot of guidance. It'll be a new and improved me and it's about damn time.

This morning I heard some high school kids trying to justify why they still go trick or treating. Sorry, I have to disagree. That's just candy greed. One of the guys on the radio show said they buy crap candy to give to anyone who has gone through puberty. But you know those kids are going home and beating up their younger sibling for the good stuff anyway.

We totally give teenagers one piece of crap candy and give the cute little kids 2 or 3 pieces of the good candy. Teenagers trick-or-treating annoys me. Except when they have a good costume. But we get a ton of 16-year-olds in basketball jerseys. Lame.

Katie, if I were a guy, I would have married you years before Russo found you.

Well I think my mom is giving Teddy Grahams to everyone this year. I didn't appreciate Teddy Grahams as a kid but they are absolutely delightful.

I can't stand those teens who don't even bother dressing up. If I weren't scared of them coming back to TP my house I'd make 'em earn the treat by saying something humiliating.

I'm not sure how to take that... :)

I agree, I wouldn't mind giving candy to the older kids if they at least made an effort at a costume.

It's a purely non-sexual compliment. I was just thrilled that you knew that quote. Mostly I just love people who think like me. I'm not making it better, am I?

My mom used to give out the little box of raisins when we were little and i would be so mortified. Now that I am a parent, though, I wish the whole candy aspect would go away! It is like crack to a 4 year old and all she wants is CANDY for days until I start throwing a little bit away at a time and then make her believe she ate that much. Yes, I know, she will need therapy one day.
