It's time
I'm filling my void with searching for a place to live. I have a limited budget which usually means dangerous neighborhoods. Woo! This means I'll probably have to become someone's roommate again. I'm hoping to do the actual moving in October so I've got plenty of time. I just want to get a good idea of what's out there now. This is when I hate being poor and dislike being single. Can I tell you something? My only motivation is that I'm tired of having a long drive to work that costs me $6 or $7 dollars a day to do. Otherwise I'd stay where I am and put money in a savings account for a nest egg. So this means I'll be maybe 50 when I can buy my first house. Wow. That's depressing.

Too bad you missed out when they were handing out mortgages to anyone who could write their name (a slam on the mortgage people, not you).
I'm still spotting some of those. I'm seeing the whole "why rent when you can buy? We'll help you get your first place, blah, blah, blah... Bad credit? We'll work with you on getting the right mortgage." Yeah, right.
It's so shady, especially when they're advertising on like cragislist.
I heard that some people actually buy houses on ebay. Can you imagine?
A house? Wow. I had an uncle that bought a car on ebay and I thought that was weird.
i sold a car on ebay! And, yes they will work with you on getting the right mortgage, but what they aren't saying is how high the interest rate has to be to get a loan when you have bad credit. Those scams make me so mad, but some of the responsibility has to go to the borrower, too. Ok, will get off soap box now!
