Happy Halloween!

Today is the day the song, "I Want Candy!" gets stuck in my head.

Guess what?!?!?! Beth is coming to my house for Thanksgiving! Aren't ya, Beth? She gets to meet my obnoxious family too. As a matter of fact, one of my uncles actually told my grandmother that he'd be on good behavior and would try to be nice to everyone. Isn't that mature of him? To try and be nice at one of the very few times we get together?!?! My aunt is doing well on her meds so she should be nice and normal that weekend. Dreaded Uncle will be busy with his grandkids so he'll be preoccupied. Mom is inviting her friend (Hot Holiday Jon's mom) to come too. It's going to be a great time and I'm hoping they don't scare Beth too much.

Oh and my mom offered to take me to lunch on Tuesday if I vote for McCain.

Dude, you might as well vote McCain and get the free lunch. It's not like South Carolina is suddenly going to become a blue state :)

I can't wait to hear how Thanksgiving goes!

That's exactly what I said to her. She's being totally irrational about the election. She was going off on how Obama's a socialist, etc. It's getting REALLY annoying.

Thanksgiving is going to be fantastic. I bet they'll all behave and be complete angels. Of course that means no stories to tell after.

I'm pretty sure you and Beth will have at least a few stories to tell after Thanksgiving. I'd bet money on it :)

Ugh, political season always brings out the worst in people. We tend to lose sight of how moderate ALL our politicians are. I'd love if it a real Socialist ran so people could see the difference. I mean really.
