Stupid Charlotte

Why does Charlotte, NC get a third Trader Joe's and there still aren't any in the state of South Carolina? That doesn't seem right. Stupid Charlotte. What's so great about them? I think people don't expect much from South Carolina. I recently read a quote from Rumer Willis about enjoying her time in Charleston and how she was surprised that you could buy Louis Vuitton [here]. I had to remind myself that she's from LA and people from LA tend to forget that there's an entire country attached to the state of California. And yeah, aside from the fact that she apparently judges cities on the shopping opportunities, it struck me that maybe a lot of people assume that southern states tend to be backwards and filled with couches on front porches and piles of tires in the backyard.
