Being back on the east coast...

I do love it here but at the same time I do miss the conveniences of the greater Los Angeles area. You really couldn't want for anything there because they seriously had everything. The one thing, was that it wasn't as easy to see my college friends. We made valiant efforts in the time I was in LA. In fact, once I dared my friend Ashley to fly out for a Christmas party and wouldn't you know it, she did. It's just easier to see them now, especially because they're all married now. We're already making tentative plans to hang out for Halloween weekend. I suggested we do an 80s themed party where people come as movie characters, or celebs from the 80s (I got the idea while watching I love the 80s on VH1 for the 40 billionth time).

I do really miss my friends from LA but I have a feeling I'll be making a valiant effort to see them too.

So meanwhile, in order to make my time in the southeast more pleasurable, I'm going to start a letter writing campaign to Trader Joe's to put a store in Charleston, SC. It'd make life here so much better.

It just occurred to me that Trader Joe's is like Harris Teeter with ambience. Discuss.

I went to Harris Teeter and I wasn't all that thrilled. It had some good stuff but it wasn't as reasonably priced as Trader Joe's. I decided that since I'm going to sell stuff at Ashley's tag sale, I'm gonna take my earnings and hit the local Trader Joe's before I head back down to Carolina.
