What does a $2 salad look like?
I actually went out after work on Friday. I went with a friend from work, Debra. We went to downtown Charleston and visited 3 different bars. Two were in order to find sponsors and 1 was to meet these incredibly good looking bartenders that she knows. Um, 'sponsors' seems to be a word for us now. Men, with money, who are willign to spend that money on us. This is what we seek. We work for the state for very little money. It'd be lovely to have someone who wants to pay for drinks, dinner, etc. Eventually it'd be nice to find a sponsor who wants us to enjoy a nice new hairstyle, a mani/pedi, a weekend in Bermuda perhaps. One who meets Debra would think that she'd have no trouble landing her own sponsor. Turns out, Debra's not so good with the men. She's the queen of first dates and can even talk herself out of going on those. There are a few other things but I'm not going to discuss them here.
I put little pieces of ham on my salad and then threw on bacon bits. But that's not overkill, right? 'Cause are bacon bits really actually bacon? Or are they just bacon flavored pieces of something. Ewww, I think I just made myself a little nauseaous.
