I hate being a whiner...
But I'm not a good time manager. I typically put things off until the very end. I know this is a problem but I'm 33 years old and I don't know that it's going to really change. I do get stuff done but it's usually right at the deadline.
So currently I'm in the process of writing a 15 page paper and studying for an exam. Both are Wednesday night. I've got some parts of the paper done and really I'm not too worried about it. There are elements of it where I'm confused but I'll try and get some answers out of the professor tonight. I am, however, concerned about the exam. I didn't do well on the last one so I really had full intentions of studying well for this one. The difference between the two exams is that we had a lot of class time spent on the concepts for the first exam. As far as the second exam, we will have had 1 class dedicated to the concepts. Actually he'll get caught up discussing our papers and we'll maybe have half a class to go over the content of 4 chapters. I understand that summer classes are faster and that grad students are supposed to almost be self-taught but this feels wrong. Oh and the exams are made up of 15 (or so) essay questions. If it were multiple choice I'd have this in the bag but it's not. Oh and the real bitch of it is that he's nitpicky. He takes off points for leaving out one word in your explanation. You could explain it straight from the book but if you're missing that one word he deems vital then you're screwed.
His evaluation is not going to be pretty.
On the brighter side of things, I'm dog-sitting for my cousin's dogs this week. Lucy and Oliver are very sweet, very well-behaved dogs so I'm looking forward to being in my own place for a few days.

Hope you had fun house/dogsitting. :) How did the test go (or should I not ask?)
Meh. I felt like I knew more than the last test but I left one question blank and really b.s.'d my way through another. We'll see.
