Gas prices
I was going through old emails and found a forward that was sent to me in 2005 consisting of these cartoons:
Gas in 2005 was more than a dollar cheaper than it is now. I'm glad I'm carpooling this summer. I really wanted to do a road trip sometime soon but I think my road trip is going to not be out of this state.

Gas is up to $3.60 here with no sign of stopping. Argh!
Wow. I filled up the other day for $3.46 but I saw a station today that had gas for $3.65. I saw something online that they're projecting it could hit $5 this year. WHYYYYYY????
My standard response to that is "Because the majority of American voters decided to put a Texas oil man into the White House TWICE," but I know that makes me sound a little bitter. $5 a gallon. Freakin' ridiculous.
