Vegan Chic

I've met more vegetarians in my time in S.C. then (than? I'm so bad at that one) I did in 7+ years in Los Angeles. Last night my newest veggie friend and I went to see a movie (Kick-Ass which kicked ass) and then got dinner after.  She got the black bean burger. I got the mahi fish tacos, natch.  I love burgers so much that black beans seem like a sacrilege to me.  Now I enjoy a good turkey burger which some burger purists would scoff at.  I have respect for vegetarians in that they are truly able to stick to convictions.  I've never been able to stick to anything.  I just can't comprehend a life without a nice, juicy cheeseburger (made of dead, bloody cow) every once in a while.
