A great injustice
Ok, not a great injustice per se, but an injustice nonetheless. Actually I guess I can't even call it an injustice because it's more of an annoyance. And really, I'm in the south and there have been soooo many REAL injustices here. So my calling this thing an injustice just belittles things that are truly unjust.
Anyway, I was taking the elevator up to the 5th floor to get my lunch. There was a very cute guy standing there waiting for the elevator. Tall, about 6'2", in jeans, an attractive shirt and a baseball cap. I love when guys look good in baseball caps. Not all men do but this guy did. He smiled at me and I smiled back. We stepped onto the elevator and I looked down so as not to get my heel stuck in the gap (which I've done often). And to my horror, this formerly good looking guy was wearing cowboy boots. Damn.

I don't get cowboy boots. They're not even that comfortable with the pointy toes and heels. They just seem so Chesney (that's my new word. Synonym for "redneck" Ha!)
He might just be covering up that he's bald. Once I worked with this cute guy who always wore a baseball hat, but that didn't bother me - because I think baseball hats are cute on guys anyway. Well, then we were at a company picnic - he whipped that baby off and added a good 10 years to himself. Guys really should just shave it all off instead of holding on to a few hairs - it would be much more attractive.
I like that Ann, I'm going to start calling things "Chesney." Let's see how long it takes to catch on.
Cowboy boots are not that bad. Dog the Bounty Hunter wears them and he rules!
