Why I like, ok love, TV

Earl and The Office was the best hour of TV I've seen in a while. Between Ralph fake humping Earl's mom and the final scene of them dancing to Mr. Roboto, Earl had me crying I was laughing so hard. Then The Office was very sweet and very amusing. I enjoy the small stuff like the conversation between Kelly and Angela about how weird Dwight is and how Angela completely overreacted. Such a great show.

The 2006 Restaurant Guide came out in today's paper. I'm determined to go to a lot of these places. I was overjoyed to see that there's a growing interest in Asian food. There's a new Vietnamese place which is awesome because I'm craving some pho. Now if only there'd be a boba place...

What is pho?

You know, I missed the beginning of Earl, but I saw the Mr. Roboto seen at the end, and we were cracking up! We could both remember doing that very same thing in a strobe light. Awesome.

Hi! Can't wait to try Basils! And, I love vietnamese food...have not had any since I lived in Charlotte...Charlotte has a large Asian community so there were lots of good Asian restaurants there that Columbia does NOT have. Does that shock anyone? :)

Oh, was it on of those "River" Roads? I could never keep Bush River and Broad River separate!

A great new little Indian restaurant opened in downtown Columbia with a great buffet! I ate there a few times before we moved.

Basil's is awesome (in my humble opinion (have to bring back My So Called Life lingo)). The only problem is that they do not take reservations, so the wait is often over an hour on a weekend night.

Texas is good so far - I just wish I lived close to Jackie, so I could see Abby more often.
