I'd be safer if I hadn't gotten out of bed
On top of my other medical issues, I've been having neck and back problems the last couple of days. I tried lots of stuff last night (medication, heating pads, etc.) but woke up feeling the same. Just now a cadet asked if I'd let him into his classroom early (so he could sleep) which I don't normally do but made an exception. So as we're walking down the hall I slip and fall. Nice. He took the blame which was amusing and generous of him. Personally I blame my shoes and my inability to stay upright for any amount of time.
Anyway, there's now no possibility that my back is going to get any better any time soon. Do you ever have those days (weeks) where things just seem off?

I'm right there with you this week!
I was just about to email you to see how you are feeling... you poor thing!
Ugh, that doesn't sound fun at all.
But, just as an aside, a cadet wanted you to let him into the classroom early so he could sleep? Was his bed on fire? Isn't that weird?
every week.

I hear ya girl!
I hope you are feeling better soon!
I keep hearing people say something about the hallway being slippery! Now I feel like less of a goober.
Have you been to the doctor? That was the best thing I did last summer when my back went out...muscle relaxers are FABULOUS! :)
Thankfully my back is all better today.
So as it turns out, because our heat is on and it's 80 outside, opening the windows caused condensation on the floors. Sure, the condensation didn't show up until the afternoon and I slipped in the morning but it still could have made the floor slippery hours earlier, right? Right?
RIGHT!
