I'm an idiot
So I wake up and I'm not feeling well at all. I head down to the bathroom, brush my teeth, shower, and head back upstairs to get ready for work. At one point in the shower I think to myself, "I wonder how much ahead of my alarm I am right now." The answer? I was a good 3 hours ahead. I get back upstairs and look at the clock. It's 2:04 am. Doh! So I turn on the TV because I'm wide awake. I throw on a tee and some shorts and get back in bed. I'm looking at the guide and decide to check out G4 to see if Ninja Warrior (Katie's recomendation) is going to be on later in the day. Turns out, Ninja Warrior happens to be on at 2am! Woo! I flip to it and a good looking American dude is about to run through the strangest obstacle course I've ever seen. For a minute I have a flash of Ninjas dressed in black hurtling towards him as he tries to get through the course but this isn't American Gladiators. No, this is better. I just love Japanese TV. The commentators are hysterical. This has the fun of watching original Iron Chef mixed with stunts that are better than Gladiator. Thanks Katie! Luckily I fall back asleep around 2:45 but not before I set my FauxVo to record the episodes of Ninja Warrior airing later this evening.

I've been watching Ninja Warrior, too! It makes me feel very weak in the upper body, but it's such a hoot!
And I can't believe you were up that early! Did you fall back asleep?
NINJA WARRIOR!
Its a bit addicting isn't it? Mike found it and we've been hooked ever since. The first stage is great b/c all the crazies come out, just like the beginning American Idol.
I can totally see how it'd be addicting. I just found out that my grad assistant watches it too. I guess I'm a little late on this bandwagon. My favorite guy last night would meow like a cat. He cracked me up.
HAHA - I don't think I've seen him yet!
There's another one called Unbeatable Banzuke, but it is much slower paced than Ninja Warrior.
I've got to check that out. That's horrible that you woke up that early.
